We’ve hired Tim twice to complete rock retaining wall projects for our home. The first project was to restack an existing 35’ x 20’ rock wall that was poorly built by a prior owner and extend an existing wall along the sidewalk to the front yard. Tim did a masterful job of reusing the existing boulders and matching new boulders to restack the wall and restore integrity. He strategically positioned his truck and equipment to not impede traffic, completed the project on time, and left the jobsite spotless. We recently had Tim completed a second job to build a 50-foot-long new retaining wall along our sidewalk. He arrived on time to scope the project, provided a fair estimate, and was able to start and complete the project the next day! As with the first project, Tim did a great job matching existing boulders, completing the project on-time, and leaving a spotless job site

We called to discuss a driveway issue we have with our home. After dealing with multiple construction companies who just are not interested in anything that isn’t multi million dollar projects, it was such a pleasure to speak to Eagle Rock Landscaping. One of the rocks in my 60-year-old rock wall was beginning to crumble. I called Eagle Rock for help and talked to Tim. He listened to me carefully and then asked me to send him some pictures of the wall and the damaged rock. He reviewed them and got back to me shortly with advice on what to do. Very practical and very courteous and all at no charge! Based on this interaction I know who I will turn to if I ever needed any real work to be done.

Sometimes your landscaping is so FUBAR that the best way forward is to tear it all down and start from scratch. The last homeowners of our property had a broken water feature, a dying tree growing out of the existing retaining wall, no upper retaining all at all, and tons of ivy grown over everything, not to mention a questionable French drain situation. We found Eagle Rock online and it looked like they specialized in hardscapes, so we called and Tim came out for an estimate. We basically just asked him, "if this was your yard, what would you do?" We hit it off with him right away, and he came up with a good plan and a very reasonable estimate. He tore out the existing retaining walls and rebuilt with rock, including a completely new French drain. His work was very professional, and he managed to completely transform our backyard. He was great to work with and we would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for hardscape or drainage work.

Eagle Rock swooped in and saved the day for my backyard remodel. There were some water drainage issues from the alley and levels of elevations that they worked out with tiered retaining walls. The stone placement and detail of setting stones for a natural stair stepping for access was amazing to watch. A+

I had a simple backyard grading project that other contractors estimated would take one day to complete. Red Flag number 1: No called and no showed to a weekend appointment for an estimate. We lost a whole Saturday waiting for Tim to show up and he didn't even have the decency or basic communication skills to text us and let us know he couldn't make it. Red Flag number 2: Shows up two days later claiming he was still 'hungover' Red Flag number3: While Tim was measuring for an estimate I told him I needed to move my car a few inches and would be right back. When I returned 2 minutes later he was gone. Without any explanation, he simply vanished and walked away from the estimate. Red Flag number 4: When I finally got in touch with Tim 5 hours later after many phone calls and texts for an explanation he said he wasn't interested in the job and proceeded to use foul language. Bottom line: Eagle Rock Landscaping are unprofessional, flaky and horrible communicators. If I could give them negative 5 stars I would. Complete waste of time and truly one of the most bizarre people I've had the displeasure of meeting in my life. I'm very thankful I will not be doing any business with this outfit.

I am a Senior and a woman. Trust is most important to me. Trust in the workmanship. Trust in that the cost will be fair. Tim Sayler's years of experience showed. My backyard with a water runoff problem and no landscaping was solved. The finished product was perfect. Weed covered mounds of uneven turf removed, a zen-like area put in and a rain-garden run-off addition solved all water problems. Now I have a place to entertain with almost zero maintenance. Fast, efficient the cost seemed a bargain.
